El Festival de Benidorm

No quiero pasar esta oportunidad sin glosar las excelencias de Benidorm, sus festivales míticos de diversión y lucha en el barro de mujeres sobre piscinas prefabricadas y de plástico, payasos en biclostatiks funabulistas y motos que se cruzan en el aire en medio de jaulas de hierro circulares en donde todo es bello y brillante y acerado, son mis recuerdos de los 80 del festival de Benidorm, esas grandes discotecas en las que todo parecía estallar, con gogó en ropa minúscula y veinteañeras que daban miedo de lo guapas que eran y que a mi me parecían mujeres muy mallores en aquellos años, pero por su constitución atlética y gimnasias y maquillajes, al correr del tiempo.
EL FESTIVAL DE BENIDORM no ha sido tan excesivo ni cirquense, se remodeló en chillout Y SE MODERNIZÓ para un mayor público de gente, más maduro y relajado ante puestas de sol y playas, aquellos fueron buenos años en España, fiestas y tempos de compromiso y de consumo, en los que 250 pesetas costaba un combinado o cubalibre pero ahora LA CALIDAD ES MAYOR y el turismo extranjero y su consumo de élite crean una sociedad más exigente a la que satisfacer con los mejores profesionales...de grandes discotecas de jaulas aceradas dodne rodaban gogós cirquenses en motocicletas hemos pasado a música relajante con proyecciones de luces rosas, el público es otro PERO DE TODO SE DISFRUTA.
Muchos de los participantes del festival se alojaban en hoteles de cuatro estrellas de Benidorm lo que hacía que la ciudad cobrará nueva vida en los días del festival que al tener una repercusi´n internacional daba más imagen de las bondades turísticas. Como acudía gente de todos los lados los hoteles y apartamentos de Benidorm se llenaban de gente por lo que fue una buena idea celebrar este festival en el que llegaron a participar grandes cantantes de la talla de Raphael y Julio Iglesias.

Many festival participants were staying in four star hotels of Benidorm which made the city draw new life in the days of the festival that was to have a more international repercusi'n image of tourism benefits . As people came from all sides of hotels and Benidorm apartments were filled with people so it was a good idea to celebrate this festival in which great singers came to join the likes of Raphael and Julio Iglesias.
